The Salty Mist
2 oz rum
1 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz simple syrup
2 dashes angostura bitters
5 mint leaves
2 oz soda
Salt
Rim a martini glass with salt and chill. Muddle the mint leaves in a shaker and combine all ingredients except the soda. Shake with ice and strain into a chilled glass. Top with soda and garnish with a mint leaf.
*To make this a mocktail, substitute your favorite black tea for the rum.
